When did you start making jewellery with sea glass?

I have been making silver jewellery for about 14 years now, but only fairly recently started incorporating sea glass.

I found Sea Glass by Archie when browsing on Etsy, and ordered my first bag of beautiful sea glass pebbles earlier this year. 

 What inspired you to make your first piece?

I love the coast, and the calming effect of the sea air, the wide open space, and sound of the waves.

I have really missed not being able to visit during the pandemic, so wanted to try to capture the essence of this into one of my jewellery designs.

 Where do you sell your products?

I have a shop on Etsy, but would love to start doing craft fairs again when restrictions allow.

 What do you love most about sea glass?

I love the colours, the smoothness of the pebbles and also the frosted texture.

They feel wonderful to the touch.

The glass also combines really well with silver into jewellery, I like to think of it as a 'gemstone of the sea'.

 Where do you make your creations?

I have a jewellery bench and work area set up in my garage at home, so I share the space with my two boys bikes and skateboards also!

 Do you make bespoke orders?

Not at the moment sadly, as I have a busy life with 2 children and a full-time job.

I list what I have already made in my Etsy shop so that I can be sure I can dispatch items to customers quickly.
